Biblical Times – the complete series

Biblical Times is a 12 part audio sitcom covering the Old Testament through the eyes of a sleezy tabloid newspaper, with its staff constantly looking for the killer scoop on God’s new project.

Adam and Eve

God is back from retirement with a whole new project; “The Earth”, a utopian society built on innocence fronted by new man Adam. Unfortunately for God, the reporters on The Biblical Times think this sounds a bit boring. Top reporter, Cassie, attempts to spice things up but when events don’t turn out quite as planned and Eve turns up, it’s time for a bit of revenge, tabloid style!

Noah

Earth has gone a bit wrong, no thanks to our heroes at The Biblical Times. So God decides it’s time to start again and, in his usual manner, decides to send a great flood. When Petra gets wind of this she decides to intervene and goes to her friend Noah for help. Between them they decide a very big boat might be what’s needed…

Joseph

Petra wants The Biblical Times to campaign to get the slaves of Egypt released. Daniel is more interested in the new sport of Beach Volleyball. Either way, The Biblical Times staff descend on Egypt where they meet an interesting chap by the name of Joseph. Whilst Petra wants his help freeing slaves, Daniel has another job in mind for him.

Moses

The ‘Free The Slaves’ campaign isn’t going well, especially not for Petra who has unwittingly been sent ‘undercover’. She hears about a man called Moses who might help her campaign. After some initial reluctance, The Biblical Times become interested in Moses, especially when details of his murky past emerge.

Samson and Goliath

There’s been a shake up at The Biblical Times. Petra has left and Cassie has been usurped as star reporter by new arrival Delilah. With Petra and Cassie both unhappy with how things have unfolded it’s time to forget their differences and join forces to defeat Delilah and her scary boyfriend Samson.

Soddom and Gammorah

God is in a very bad mood, smiting anyone who he feels isn’t behaving themselves. As a result the Biblical Times staff have found things have gone a bit quiet. When there’s no news the only thing to do is to make some up. But sometimes there are dire consequences…
